  1. Provide mix of 5 dals Moong Tur Chana Black Masoor Orange Masoor dal
  2. Take onion
  3. Use tomatoes
  4. Use ginger garlic paste

  7. Provide curd
  8. Get jeera
  9. Prepare mustard seeds
  10. Use red chilli powder

Instructions to make Panchratna Dal:
  1. Firstly wash and soak all the five dal in a bowl foer 1/2 hour.
  2. Now put the dal in a cooker and pressure cooker it for 10 mins give about 2_3 whistle
  3. Meanwhlie the dal is being cooked prepare the tadka for dal.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds when they start splittering add 1 tsp of red red chiili powder and 1/2 tsp of turmeric.
  5. Also add hing curry leaves mix it well.
  6. Now add onion finely chopped bay leaves green chillies and the remaining spices.
  7. Except for dal makhani masala. - Saute onion on mefiym flame till it is transparent.
  8. Now add tomatoes and curd and let it cook on low flame till onion & tomatoes get spiced up nicely
  9. Till now the dal is boiled mix it well
  10. Now add the boiled dal to this onion mixture add some water accordingly anf let it boil on medium flame for 10_12 mins
  11. Now add the dal makhani masala stir it well let it boil for 3_4 mins.
  12. Off the flame and garnish with coriander and serve hot with parathas or Nan.
