  9. Take 2 tablespoon ghee

  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp jeera
  12. Provide 1/4 tsp hing
  13. Prepare 1/4 tsp haldi
  14. Use to taste Salt
Steps to make Rasam:
  1. Take all the ingredients in the plate
  2. In a pan heat ghee and add jeera mustard seeds and hing and add curry leaves, garlic and onions,haldi, and fry for 1 minutes….
  3. Din add tomatoes,rasam powder Fry for 2 minutes then add tamarind juice and add 5cups water and salt to taste and cook for 10 minutes.. at last add coriander leaves and off the flame….
  4. Hot hot rasam is ready…. Serve with rice…….

You can replace my rasam powder with store bought rasam powder too. This can be made with few variations too, which I always do. Hot rasam, hot rice plus ghee - heavenly combination.
