  16. Provide 1 & half tsp or to taste Namak (Salt)
  17. Take 1 tsp or taste Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder)
  18. Use Half cup Dahi (Yogurt) whisked
  19. Provide 1 Chicken stock cube
  20. Provide Podina (Mint leaves) chopped ½ Cup -
  21. Use 2-3 cups water or az required
  22. Use 250 gms Chanay (Chickpeas) boiled
  23. Get Chawal (Rice) basmati ½ kg (soaked)
  24. Prepare 2 medium tomato sliced
Instructions to make Special Chana Pulao (chickpeas rice):
  1. In spice mixer,add nutmeg,mace,black peppercorns,black cardamom and grind well. Add ginger,garlic,green chilies,water and grind to make a paste & set aside.
  2. In pot,add cooking oil,onion and fry until light golden. -Add cumin seeds,cinnamon sticks,black peppercorns,cloves,green cardamom and mix.
  3. Now add grinded paste and mix well.Add tomatoes salt,red chilli powder and mix well for 2 minutes.
  4. Add yogurt and mix well. -Add chicken stock cube,mint leaves and mix well. -Add water,mix well and bring it to boil.
  5. Add chickpeas and rice,mix gently and bring it to boil. -Cook on medium high flame until water is reduced (8-10 minutes). -Cover and steam cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes & serve! Special Chana pulao is ready😍
