  1. Use 200 gms split black gram (Urad dal)
  2. Take 3 green chillies
  3. Use 1/2 " ginger
  4. Take 1/2 liter curd
  5. You need to taste Salt and sugar
  6. Use 10 cashew splited in two halves
  7. Provide Few raisins
  8. Get Oil for deep frying
  9. Provide 2 tbsp Cumin powder
  10. Provide 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  11. Provide Chopped fresh coriander
  12. Take 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  13. Take 1/2 cup green chutney
  14. Provide 1/4 cup fine sev
Instructions to make Stuffed Dahi Gujiya (Dahi Vada):
  1. Wash and soak urad dal for 4-5 hours.
  2. Drain water and grind urad dal to fine paste with little water. Whisk it for 10 minutes with hand. Add salt and mix it.
  3. Make chilli and ginger paste.
  4. Heat oil. Now wet your hands and take little portion of urad dal paste on your hand and flatten it, keep one half of cashew, one raisin and a small portion of ginger-chilli paste on one side and cover it with other side. Deep fry Vada till golden brown on slow flame.
  5. Repeat the same procedure for all remaining vadas.
  6. In a big vessel take water add little salt. Now deep all vadas in water for 10 mins. Squeeze water out of all vadas and keep aside.
  7. Take curd and seive it. Add salt and sugar to it. And mix gently.
  8. Now while serving : take a bowl and place one Vada in it. Pour whisked curd over it. Add tamarind and green chutney above it. Sprinkle red chilli powder, cumin powder on it.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander and sev. Enjoy your Gujiya Dahi Vada.

Shallow fry the same till crispy. Boil chickpeas; temper it with sum onion For Dahi Vada. Wash urad dal in water till water comes clean. Soak it overnight or at least four hours. Dahi vada is a type of chaat (snack) originating from the Indian subcontinent and popular throughout South Asia.
