  1. For khichadi - soak rice and dal separately for 1/2 hr. Then in a cooker add all ingredients including rice and dal. Cover the lid and get 3 whistles. Khichadi is ready.
  2. For kadhi - take dahi, beat it with a whisk, now add besan, beat it again till smooth. Now add turmeric powder red chilly powder, grated ginger, salt and little water (as per your redq consistency). Now heat ghee, crackle jeera, saunf, cloves, black peppercorn, cinnamon stick, green chillies, round red chilly curry leaves and hing. Add the seasoning to the curd batter. Add coriander leaves.
