  1. Wash and soak broken wheat for 6 hours. Wash and soak rice, tur dal, chanadal for 1 hour.
  2. In pressure cooker vessel add soaked broken wheat, rice, turdal, chanadal, minced chilli,ginger, cummin seeds and salt to taste. Add 1 glass of water and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  3. Remove from pressure cooker and mash it.
  4. In kadhai add 2 tbsp ghee,fry onion slices. Keep aside.
  5. In same kadhai add 1 tbsp ghee,add cummin seeds as splutter add mashed wheat-rice-dals mixture. Mix well. Heat for 2 minutes.
  6. Add boiled potato cubes,1 tbsp ghee, salt to taste, mix well.
  7. Remove in serving bowl. Garnish with fried onions slices, chopped coriander leaves and sprinkle garam masala on it.
  8. Serve/Relish Delicious Hot Khichda as it is or with Kadhi.
